Avcilar Construction, which is among the constructional powers of not only İzmir but also Turkey with its brand-projects, is preparing to carry out a very meaningful project. Avcilar Construction builds a school in Bayraklı under the scope of "Project of %100 Educational Support for Children with Autism".
Hikmet Avcı, Honorary President of Avcilar Construction, signed a protocol with Izmir Governor Mustafa Toprak to build a 7-storey school in Bayraklı. Hikmet Avci said the followings about the company works at the protocol signing ceremony: The first foundation of our construction company was launched in 1989. Our company aims to develop continuously and grow steadily since the day it was founded, adding strength to itself every year. Having signed big projects in İzmir for 27 years, Avcılar has been carrying out unique and beneficial projects for İzmir with the vision of ‘the architecture of modernism'. To date, the construction projects of 3250 houses and 455 workplaces with a total area of 415.000 m² have been successfully completed and delivered.
At the protocol ceremony held at the Governorship office; there were İzmir Governor Mustafa Toprak, Bayraklı District Governor Adem Arslan, Provincial National Education Director Vefa Bardakçı, Avcılar Construction Honorary President Hikmet Avcı, Avcilar Construction Management Chairman Idris Avci and others.
Speaking at the protocol ceremony, Governor Mustafa Toprak said: "The name of the school to be made by our benefactor Avcılar Construction will be 'Hikmet Avcı Rehberlik ve Araştırma Merkezi, Özel Eğitim Uygulama Merkezi ve İş Uygulama Merkezi'. The name of the Conference Hall will be Idris Avcı Conference Hall. Construction of the 7-storey school building will be carried out by Avcilar. The project will be completed as soon as possible and will be presented for the use of our autistic children and their families. I thank you so much for your charity."
Governor Toprak continued: "You will make a school for the disabled who will protect our young people, our students and our disadvantageous students, who will provide our future, and will watch and educate them. I would like to thank you, your family and your company very much. I hope that these activities will be an example to other benefactors and those who are rich and who want to do charity works."
The first foundations of the project were laid two years ago.
The Governorship of İzmir organized an activity for autistic children, which will hold them on to the life and make their families feel a little more relaxed, through District Governorship of Bayraklı two years ago and Avcılar Construction also supported this activity with the sense of social responsibility. The idea of a private school for autistic children was firstly brought forward in this activity and this has been taken as duty by Hikmet Avcı, who had been preparing for such a project for a long time.
